Modform was a "spin" off

Modform was established to respond to the needs of industry for high-quality, forged and machined specialty fasteners. We welcome the "twists" posed by Fastener Distributors needing one bolt or hundreds. OEM manufacturers routinely call us to make specials, service apparatus and spare parts.

Our business has both a made-to-order and made-to-stock manufacturing slant. Modform is an established supplier of short-run, non-standard, special application, hot-forged, large diameter and length fasteners to multi-national OEMs in agricultural, earth moving, motorcycle and marine markets.

Modform's Hot Upset Forging Department makes us one of a kind. Infrared sensors tied to induction heaters tightly control temperature and heating cycle times. Open-die forges easily handle 1/4" through 1-1/2" diameter bar of virtually unlimited length, delivering one-to-three-blow headers.

Parts may be turned and threaded in multiple-spindle automatic screw machines, run through Landis threading machines, single-pointed in a CNC lathe or axial roll-threaded to precise tolerances and specification.
